Nathan Weinstock Class of 2024   Nathan Weinstock graduated from Maimonides in June 2024 and has since been learning at Yeshivat Torat Shraga in Israel. He plans to enlist in the Israel Defense Forces next spring.    This week on  Shabbat Shuva ,  Parshas Vayeilech , we read from  Hoshea, perek  14, as part of the  haftarah . Dr. David Fischer Upper School Science Teacher   In addition to teaching Geometry, Chemistry, and Environmental Science, Dr. Fischer spearheaded this summer's Daf Yomi challenge and has previously led a Bekiut Talmud elective. He is the proud father of two Maimo students and three alumni.   Every morning at Maimonides School, two  minyanim  meet for  shacharit . The  ashkenazi minyan  meets in the main  shul,  while the  sefardi minyan  down the hall provides a forum for those students and faculty whose traditions are closer to  edot hamizrach .
